With applications launching on February 10 for Fast Movers 2020, the Advertiser took a look at how far previously recognised businesses have come; and Suntrix got a mention. This is what they had to say:
Finding a Place in the Sun
It’s 10 years since a kitchen table start-up, led by Jenny Paradiso, pictured, started its journey to find a place in the sun. Since then, multi-award-winning solar retailer Suntrix has installed 34MW of solar energy – which equates to 127,800 panels – and helped reduce carbon emissions by 750,000 tonnes.
In that time, it has featured twice on the Fast Movers Top 25 list, in 2013 and 2014.
A simple vision to make “solar achievable for more Australians” has been at the heart of Suntrix, which saw revenues increase a phenomenal 30-fold in just one year. In 2013, the company was also named Telstra South Australian Business of the Year, followed by Ms Paradiso, in 2016, winning the Australian Telstra Business Women’s Entrepreneur of the Year.
The business now also operates in Victoria and New South Wales and says “there is no doubt that the future is looking bright”. “We are here for the journey, not just the transaction,” Ms Paradiso said in a blog post earlier this year.
