New hurdle for those seeking solar

An interesting article out this week describes how some power companies are creating barriers for home and business owners alike when it comes to rooftop solar.

The article published in the Sydney Morning Herald, says that in some cases the cost of connection can be as high as $30,000 for a commercial solar system.  This in turn reduces the payback period for the system making it less viable for the business.
